Nope nope nope… Just bought this today befor watching this video. Me and my wife tasted this exact same tequila while watching this video. And nope wow it was good at first but the after was harsh. This bottle is gonna sit on the shelf for a long time.
My cheap go to has always been 1800 at gigs. I stumbled across El Jimador accidentally and it became my new go to. Any friend that I have who also likes tequila and has tried it. agrees that it's great for its price range.
I purchased a bottle of El Jimador Reposado based on your review… this tequila is harsh… burns from the start all the way down…and a rather strange taste.. I am going to stick to El Tesoro and Forteleza … I can not understand how it is the top selling tequila in Mexico except for the cheap price there…
Thats the worst tequlia you can buy yes its 100 percent agave but the use pre mature agaves and they use diffusers and acid to cook there agave the company dont care how its tastes quantity they care not quality

Is this really 100% Agave as stated on the bottle? I had like 4 shots in an hour and got the worse headache right away.
Best tequila review I have seen yet! I am enjoying a bottle of Casamigos Blanco which is quite nice. I use it in proper margaritas. Using good tequila in a cocktail negates the need for adding sweetener to the cocktail (the Cointreau adds enough sweetness). Tequila's 2 biggest issues are 1. the audacious bottles that some distillers put their swill into, and 2. The harsh, low quality 50% agave, 50% diesel that some distillers are bottling.
El -Jim-ah-door? Joe-say? Really? So, is that like Jag-you-are or Nick-ah-rag you-ah? It's correctly pronounced: HEEM, El-Heem-Ah-Door (the J is a soft Spanish "H" as in HIM) and it's Hoe-zay, again with soft Spanish "H", not Joe-Say. There's a good lad.

Isn't it %25 alc/vol and classed as a liquer? think this type of lighter tequila is more similiar to wine or white wine? Can you reveiw Centenario tequila as well? I think it is available in all the major cities in Australia but I'm not sure about NZ. I got told Centenario was one of the best in the world and also the most expensive. Excellent and enjoyable review chaps. I do like a drop of quality tequila from time to time but if you want to go Mexican mezcal is the way to go. It's not cheap, because it is genuinly artisan, but boy is it good. My favourite producers are Del Maguey and Pierde Almas. Higher proof and far more interesting than most tequila.
