just tasting now. Much better than heineken but I drink it in a different country, there may be a slight difference because it is produced in Poland.

I haven't had this in a while, but I bought a pint can while I was out buying a few other beers. I usually am often disappointed on repeat tries of a beer not living up to what I remembered, but compared to the many standard AAL's I've revisited recently, this was fantastic.
With all the inflation going on, I've seen 24/25 ounce cans of AB products and Lablatt go up 20+ percent, as well as just last week seeing Pabst,Narragansett and Genesee all going up at least $1 a 6 pack of pints. The Narragansett is now $7/6 pints, and at least right now I can still get a 12 pack of pints of this for the same price per can, and it easily blows the pants off it.
It was very well rounded and lacked the vegetable or sweetness flavors of the Miller High Life I bought last week (which I still enjoy), very crisp and refreshing. I wish we had a competitively priced domestic reinheitsgebot lager, because the difference is definitely noticeable.
Just picked up a case of 16 oz. Cans. 30 bucks. This beer is very drinkable and good quailty.

Too many companies are very liberal in the usage of pilsner. Lite beers, euro lagers, I wonder how long it will be until some marketeer comes up with the idea of trying to call Steel Reserve a pilsner.

In the U.K. Carlsberg Export is 4.8% We have beer sold in 330ml bottles 500ml bottles, 660ml bottles and 710ml bottles. And for cans 330ml can, 440ml tend to be in cases, 500ml cans and pint cans 568ml.
This was completely rebranded around 2 yrs back, recipe and can etc. It's 3.8% in the UK. It's better than the old Carlsberg but nothing fantastic. I think this beer is certainly a continental Pilsner. It is less bitter and more pleasurable than Heine

Its a decent lager to session on. It comes in the 568ml cans for a reasonable price so what's not to like..

Never had it.
I just had a chance to have this beer the other weekend, and I really enjoyed it. Had a bit of a mineralized aftertaste, may not be for everyone but I thought it was an extremely refreshing and tasty pilsner!
I agree with you guys.
Only thing I’d add, is when comparing a beer to those of a Heineken, I’d refer to it as Central European qualities, not European.
Being from Poland, I can assure you that our beers don’t taste nor smell much alike as to those from Holland

Carlsberg is my favourite beer, here in U.K, our regular Carlsberg danish pilsner is 3.8% as it’s made by Carlsberg U.K and only available in the U.K., wot you get in USA and rest of world I think is wots branded over in the U.K. as Carlsberg export is which I’m sure is still 4.8% (another great beer), we also get special brew although I’ve never seen Carlsberg elephant here before.
It’s good. I don’t love the body, and the same goes for classic Michelob. Jutland’s finest. Sulphuric water.

Hi – no its not the remastered Carlsberg he is drinking, He is drinking the regular Carlsberg Export 5.0% Abv. The new remastered Carlsberg is 3,8 % avb for the the UK market only.
There are different Carlsbergs beer.
Carlsberg Export – 5,0 % Abv
Carlsberg Danish pilsner – 4.7% Avb
Carlsberg remastered pilsner 3,8% AV
Carslberg HOF – 4,2% avb ( Their own version of light beer )
Carlsberg Elephant 7,2% avb
Carlsberg Special brew 8,0% avb
