Nice video good to know the beer culture is really great. I had a Vietnamese friend who always used to say, you gonna love it, it so cheap and pretty good. He had also gone to university in Czech Republic and had that great beer culture as a point of comparison too, in th states he was a big Samuel Adams fanatic for some reason, its good beer, though I on't know why anyone would get stuck on it. Just a point to criticize on though, I'm preparing for a quick trip to 'Nam from Thailand where I'm a resident and I clicked on your video initially because I want to know if there are any scams or other things to be aware of, your title suggests that you somehow regretted going to Vietnam because of somethings you didn't know but mentioned mostly positive things, so that's a little click baity and not really straight up honest, it uses people's time to go through the video and get at what your title says the video is about. Its a good video, why ruin people's experience of it turning it in to click bait essentially with that title?

  2. Paula Sandrak diyor ki:

The majority of Asia drives on the right hand side (China, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Korea, Mongolia, all of Middle East/Central Asia, Russia, Myanmar, even Philippines). I was actually surprised there are a few more countries that are lefties than just the former British colonies (ie India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal) – indeed Malaysia, Thailand, SGP, and a bunch of island countries

  3. Dean Tucker diyor ki:

Greetings…I will be in Vietnam in April but only have 8 days. I am planning to stay in Ho Chi Minh and Vang Tao. If there was one other place to go for a day or two, what would you say is a must visit place? Thanks!

  4. flameout12345 diyor ki:

Can we stop with "touristy." How do people lie to themselves of thinking not going these "uncool touristy" places? They're usually most significant parts of that city. Will you not visit Effie Tower when first time in Paris?

  5. Nguyen Khanh Long diyor ki:

In Vietnam, we have a word "nhậu". It is kinda different from eat though having similar meaning.
"Nhậu" described as an activity which people will meet together at some restaurant, local street food restaurant or even at home, etc and eat foods that is suitable with alcohol drinks.

  6. Mr C diyor ki:

I returned from Vietnam on November 3, having visited, like you, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and both Halong and Lan Ha Bays. My impressions are the same as yours, except from an American perspective. Ho Chi Minh City is VERY modern, prosperous, and busy – and not like what most Americans think of when encountering the term "communist country!" Hanoi, at least the Old District, is more traditional. I'm also now a bit of an authority on Vietnamese hospitals, having broken an arm after leaving the boat in Halong Bay (get this, U.S. medical "victims": consultation, two x-rays, setting the arm in a cast, and drugs: $317 USD!) HOWEVER, times have changed in Halong/Lan Ha Bays. It's REALLY overcrowded now! We were accompanied by no fewer than 17 other boats who moved when we did, anchored when we did, did activities when we did. I was on a 3D/2N voyage also and, after my experience, I'd recommend people see it, but on a day cruise ONLY! The place is overwhelmed and when kayaking, etc., one is fighting, literally, hundreds of others for space. Also, one really isn't "cruising" as the only time a ship's underway is just after they pick up passengers or are repositioning to get rid of some the next day. As all the boats follow each other around, I estimate everyone's actually underway less than 40 minutes TOTAL over a three day voyage. Just a very disappointing experience overall.

  7. Hannes Ballert diyor ki:

Sorry guys but what kind of dumb video is this?
Quote: "i dldnt do a lot of research before going."….or none! 😀
Well, perhaps read a book to get to know the culture before stating obvious facts about a country.
"Its hot in vietnam, so the people go out late"… .. ahaha…just stupid. sorry but really …is this a serious video?

  8. Janne Viljanen diyor ki:

Vietnam is the 2nd biggest coffee producer in the world after Brasil. But when we talk about the Robusta coffee, then Vietnam is the biggest producer. Brasil is producing Arabica coffee. Robusta coffee contain about double amount caffeine compared to Arabica coffee.
And we Finns drink most coffee per person per year, about 12 kilos per person per year.

  9. King of FKing Everything diyor ki:

I expected this place to be like Bali or other chaotic cities in Asia, with loads of mopeds and cars everywhere, driving fast, honking horns, stray animals.. dirty.. I have travelled a LOT but clearly not enough in SE Asia.. I’m embarrassed lol. It looks fantastic and very modern.

  10. BìnhAn diyor ki:

As long as you’re not Vietnamese coming back to visit family/relatives in the country, specifically White people, Vietnam extremely welcome you with two hands and bow respectfully! When Vietnamese coming back to the country, they all have to put money in their passports at the customs,……..!when this is the truth many Vietnamese in the country would get mad when they see this comment!
