Heineken is the worst beer. Always skunky (but you LIKE skunky?!?). Of your mentions here, also among the worst: Corona, Stella Artois and Pilsner Urquell.

Stella, Millers, and Heineken are some of my favorite for macro, but still haven't tried it all. Most mexican logers like Corona are tolerable summer beers without much character, and Bud is where you start just tasting things as bread-water. Been trying stuff like sapporo now and its… confusing, but doable.
So I’m Dutch any Heineken is from my country. 80 percent of the people including me thinks Heineken is the absolute worst. It also gives you headaches. You only drink that on festivals when you are already a bit drunk. So I genuinely don’t know what went wrong in your review. It’s Warsteiner from Germany or Rugenbräu from Switzerland for me.

Craft beer is for enjoying 1-2 beers socially. Mass produced lager is for binge drinking. Both have their purposes, but craft beer enjoyers are the cringiest of the two.

Heineken is also my favorite out of all these. I also love Carlsberg as a refreshing beer in the summer, but I concur its lacking in flavour.

I gave craft beer a chance but I haven’t liked any… this is pretentious shit. My preferred lager beer is from Czech, but not craft.

I had to laugh with the Kronenberg. I never cared much for it myself. The deal-breaker was looking at the ingredients and I saw sugar syrup added. That does not belong in beer. Basically, it just tells me your beer wasn't brewed correctly and you had to artificially balance its sweetness. Anyway, happy you have a mention to Pilsner Urquell and Hacker Pschorr which are two lovely beers, among my favourites.
How does a beer not know if he is drinking Heineken? Sure you got it right, but it easily one of the most distinguishable beers on earth. Instantly recognizable to the point that it should have been disqualified from this tasting.

I don't really know how you can criticise main-stream lagers in favour of arty farty ones when the main-stream ones are best sellers. Why do they sell so much when they are suposed to be so bad ? It reminds me of those people who go mad over paintings in a gallery, then find out it was actually drawn by a five year-old.

I am still saying that Heineken is a safe choice if you don't trust other beers in a bar. Of course it is not the best, but from all the "mediocre mainstream beers" its one of the best choices. Tastes totally okay, its absolutely drinkable and it isnt a beer where get a bad hangover.
I love my craft beer but I don't judge ppl having macro lagers because of budgeting.
I think I would have included say, Beck's ahead of a couple of those. But it's difficult to judge off-the-shelf mass market beers because you don't know how long they've been sitting there or the conditions they've lived in up to that point. Still, I think this was a pretty good rundown. Well done.

I myself will drink near enough anything so I'm far from a beer judge like yourself but you're comparing beer that is under £5 for four cans to craft beers which are £3 ,£4 a can.
Call me a poor working class beer pig if you want but this is why if I go to a party or bbq I'll take a 18 pack of carling, fosters, Stella, bud whatever. Does the job and it's cheap enough.
In my opinion, you cant rate Beer from a can VS Beer from a bottle, but I do drink Heineken, This is also better from a bottle. Also this is clearly a mater of taste, as there are millions of beret wearing French men and women who you lynch you for your review of kronenbourg, I know I've seen them!

I think a fair test would be for you to compare an even mix of craft lagers and pilsners vs the off the shelf stuff…
