You just have to be comfortable 🙂 I advise you to look at the rules in each country you go to with drone, because in many countries permission is required for public safety in such public areas. Sometimes in a bad situation, it can be frightening not to be able to speak the same language with the people around you and to have them speak another language but it's a little action for adrenaline hahha 😀

In Germany we got a fine just for fishing at a river without a license. You fly your huge drone in one of the most crowded cities of the world and you surprise when they caught you. You may be a spy (I believe probably you are), you may hurt someone with your drone and you want to have full freedom while you don't have in your homeland.

Dont tell me that you dont know THERE ARE RULES TO FLY A DRONE in most of the countries… you just came out from cave or something?? You dont have any restricted areas in your own country? Be smart, there are even apps for those areas which we can fly drones or cannot, education first.

Stereotypes of Turkey:
Turkey is a strict muslim country
Yes, we are muslim but we are not strict. It’s more likely to have religious people at villages but those strict muslim times are over. Now we are a modern country with women rights and technology.

So wrong. I get so mad when i hear this. Yes, there are people with those black dresses with eyes open only but we don’t force them, it’s their choice and those dresses are VERY rare to see. Usually women look normal. Those who wear those stuff choose it. Nobody forces them. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made sure that women had rights and didn’t have to wear those when he saved Turkey.

Turkish people are uneducated
Really wrong. Here at Turkey, everyone MUST go to school and they are not allowed to drop out. I’m actually 11 and i know English professionally (i won many writing competitions). Education is getting better and better. We learn to do art, we learn our history, we learn math, we learn writing and reading, and also English, and Spanish if possible. There are people who don’t know how to read but those people are really old and rare.

Men are dominant, women are submissive and stay at home
It used to be like this but, now women have rights and can choose what they want to do. Nowadays, people only marry because of love but yes, we used to make men and women marry eventhough they didn’t want to a long time ago. Men can be dominant sometimes but people like my mom easily stand up for themselves and be really happy.

Turkish men are lazy
Ok now i want to ask WHO SAID THIS. Here at Turkey, ofc we have lazy people like every other country. But normally we aren’t lazy, men work a lot like everyone else (also women work hard too). So please stop saying this it’s really mean.

Turkish men are allowed x amount of wives
No, no, no. This is just so wrong. Men are allowed to have 1 wife only and if they cheat on their partner, they are probably gonna end up with a strong slap on the face, a deafening scream, and all alone. This was only allowed in Ottoman times. (i didn’t even know this was a thing lol)

All Turkish men are love rats and just after your money
People at Turkey have jobs and work. They don’t need your money. We don’t even have gold diggers here. This is so wrong.

The water is dirty
So wrong. I have been drinking Turkey’s water ever since i was born and i haven’t gotten any problems yet. Water is perfectly fine and safe to use.

The country is unsafe
Turkey is safe and great to visit. I have never seen anyone break a law except speeding before. This is so wrong. Here at Turkey we don’t have many criminals. 1: Our religion doesn’t allow it (for religious people) 2: We just know what will happen if we commit a crime and we know it’s not worth it anyway.

Everyone wears a fez and has a mustache
This used to be a thing but now, unless you’re at a village, you won’t see a men with a moustache and a fez (ofc men can have mustaches its their choice ) Everyone dresses normally. Turkey is a modern country.

I have been living in the US for 34 years. You would have had a much worse experience if that happened here. Also, you should not have recorded secretly while you were being questioned. I am sure you knew that. But Americans are pumped with so much fear their whole lives. I would let you slide calling it the “ Midnight Express “ fear and if that is the case, you should follow up on that and if you do, you would find out that the guy who came up with that story was just being used by certain circles in the States to create bad propaganda for Turkey. He later admitted to that and apologized to the Turkish Nation.
