I would dare any java junkie to drink coffee made from the droppings of this animal, which is the cousin of the mongoose! and, while it is clearly a high quality kind of coffee, I'm pretty certain that most folks would likely say, no thank you-I don't drink coffee made from the escriment of an animal that dines on coffee beans, no matter the rarity or the value, that's just plain, gross!

i don't to much like coffe,cannot drink it more than 3gram of black ground coffe,
i more choose milk,honey,bitter chocolatte/pure chocolatte (around 90% without sugar),and the matcha/green tea or tea variation
then little bit coffe,like really little,that why im not really intrest to try kopi luwak,i cannot drink to much coffe so yeah.

Works just as well with a house cat, don't let them tell you any different. You just have to feed them smaller amounts so they don't get all jittery from the caffeine.

I had kopi luwak in Bali Indonesia .it tasted like normal coffee and tasted good. I tried out of curiosity but I was told what it was and they even showed me the animals. Price per cup was 7$ a cup but you could taste a variety of other coffees and teas for free

I wonder if the enzymes affect the inside of the coffee bean since there still outer layer of skin to be remove during preparations and the civet is not able to digest it so the akin is still intact and the enzymes is supposedly affecting only the outer skin which will be wash and remove later unless the enzymes can penetrate the inside layer of the coffee bean too. I hope its like that so it made sense
