Churches should remain churches and mosques should remain mosques. How would Muslims feel if Christians occupied Mecca, turned the main mosque into a church, and put crucifixes and images of saints all over it? It would lead to WW3.

As a Muslim, i said NO. This is NOT a Mosque. This is a Church and forever belong to eastern Orthodox Christian people. The Prophet Muhammad pbuh is clearly said that it is illegal, forbidden,haram to do any harm or convert a house of prayer that's is not belong to us Muslim into a Masjid. It is HARAM. Truly beautiful mosque, I was there last summer, truly amazing atmosphere. Reading namaz there felt like a dream, a dream come true. Every Muslim has once dreamed of reading namaz at the great Hagia Sophia, however it was impossible. Though, now thanks to the great president, Erdogan, we are able to achieve that dream. ♥️
I was there last week. The covering of the mosaics is a shame.
I am glad that a Christian church can give some happiness to Muslims to pray. Such a beautiful place created by Christians should not be a museum. God bless 🙂

The video is full of false claims and inaccuracies lol…A simple example is that Istanbul is not known as Istanbul since 1453, Turkey changed the name from the Greek Konstantinople to another Greek word again(lol) in 1930 in their desperate effort to make themselves believe they were part of any of this or they have some connection other than destroying or simply as if this will change its history. In any case it should only be expected that the owners will eventually come back and claim their creation and free this achievement from its vandalization in many forms.
