Minty….Minty….Minty….
Oh dear, his brain broke! I wanna try it!
Never get tired of the old intro. "I don't worry too much about precision" from the guy who measures EVERYTHING. Like, i get why he does that for the sake of giving us a replicatable formula and i measure too, nothing wrong with that, but the "I don't worry too much…." Hahaha. Bro, come on!
I always feel like the bartender hates me when I order a mojito lol
Do you notice a difference using seltzer vs club soda? I know club soda has added salt and minerals, wonder if it adds to the drink?
I like to have a bit of lime and brown sugar in the glass, I guess using syrup over sugar is better but I think it looks cool
nope.
A+ for location shoot on this one. Greg is outa the garage, WATCH OUT!
Love the shirt.
Use don Q instead of Bacardi, it’s better
If you go to some latin markets, they will have Panela, a dehydrated cane juice that can be rehydrated. I believe the source is Colombia. It has a great molasses flavor that can then be used to make cane syrup. You can also get it on Amazon.
would love to see your updated take on this drink =]
Love this. Been watching for a couple years and somehow missed this episode. Wish there was some Hawaiian music instead of the the standard 1930's big band jazz. Love you and your show
Greg, you should do another outdoor at the water’s edge episode! Cheers dude! Love the channel
So happy I stumbled across these older beach videos!
In Costa Rica, they garnish with a slice of sugar cane. So good.
How did they have seltzer back then
Thanks for making a Mojito the way it should be made
Problem if you make it with Bacardi, you can't taste the rum at all, sub with plantation 3 star and you're in for a treat.
no offense, but I prefer to use sugar rather than syrup. Brown sugar adds some character, but you lose that clean, clear look.
Toured the distillery in 1991. Worth it. Great tour.
I use Bacardí Limón for mojitos, much better in my opinion.
The Australian guy said soda water, and you finally revealed the answer. I did the research and wasn't sure if he was talking about seltzer. Anyways, I tried this and it kind of ruined the drink by making it watery. So I don't put this ingredient and substitute it with a lot of ice. When the ice melts, it turns into water and makes a great combination.
Okay so this is the very first time I've ever heard you say that you haven't worked in a bar and I'm actually shocked because you seem to know what you're doing.
Fucking perfect mojito bubba great drink! Thank you for the rest of my evening
Damn, we thought we were special for mentioning El Draque in our video! Great bar set up for such a summery cocktail!
I love how excited you are by it. Anyone who says they don't like a mojito is lying
Seltzer instead of club soda…hmmmm
what is seltzer?
he looks like the definition of tourist
Your videos ALWAYS make me smile. In these times, that's a feat. Thank you.
DonQ Cristal Rum is the real deal for clear rum. Find a bottle.
No beachfront bar is complete without a mounted deer head.
This is the 81st video.
Ok, if using sprite is forbidden, what would you recommend to replace the alcohol? That is, if you want to make a non-alcoholic mojito?
Ah yes, the drink that will make every bartender want to kill you.
If it wasn't for the intros and the fact that YouTube tells you how old the video age I wouldn't be able to tell the quality has always been there.
Getting ready to make my first ever mojito…why am I so nervous?
Quick question, what would it be called if I subbed some fresh basil in for the mint?
Is this simple syrup 2:1 like you use for your home mix?
