Is that the monkey from Pinocchio?
I wish I could watch it in cinema but due to health issues I can't. Definitely buying it when it is released in my country. This movie is like water in the wasteland of trashy movies/shows produced in the recent years by Hollywood/certain streaming services. We need more of this.

That’s when I found out that she’s fictional.
An amazing film about a complex character, and a very troubling subject. It really highlights the perils of cancel culture, and it's ability to tarnish the reputations of great artists. The difficult lesson here is that we must be very careful when defining virtue in people, for that changes depending on the society pronouncing judgement. I truly loved this film. So few like it are made anymore that it seems miraculous when one comes along. I hope that it does well at Golden Globe and Oscar time. Cate has definitely got my vote. I haven't seen a more masterful performance this year.

Cate’s acting in Tar was so captivating that I felt like I was in the same room with her at each and every moment. Absolutely brilliant, a complete marvel, she’s deserves every praise that is thrown her way!
Would of watched this if they kept the girl on girl action out don't care for it
The movie was nothing like I was expecting after watching this trailer.
Its as usual a strong performance from Blanchett. It seems to want to take a turn toward her having a break down due to the pressure, then its more about her past coming back to haunt her.
I never saw a trailer, so it was creepier than I expected. The music is superb.
The supporting actors all handle their jobs well. Its not going to be for everybody. As its a slow burn. It addresses some current social issues in an interesting way. An decent character study of narcissism, hubris and ego. Which I guess you need to create, but it can go too far, especially in todays society, where the world is watching via social media and technology.
Mahler rules so that helped. Overall I liked it.

Wow! I wasn't expecting Cate Blanchett's character Lydia Tár to be a sexual abuser and molester. Excellent movie but did have a few holes.
There's too much acting in this movie.
Blanchet go to 3rd Oscar !
