The case of Zimmer bradley husband whom everyone was upset could not attend is however indeed very curious. Though these allegations that are cited are strong suggestions of a possibility, you have to do much more than that to prove ethe extent and nature of this implied claim. Did asimov himself get caught with pedophilia activities [he was known to be in trouble with allegedly women though], were the accusations of clarke proven? So, David asimov's case, which i will report shows up on no impartial sites, but only on alt right sites occured in 2000 ish? Isaac asimov himself was dead at this point. Whats next did Heinlein molest little boys? what about ray bradbury? Frank herbert? so all of the big figures of this period were pedophiles? You need much more iron clad proof to proove this. but you evade it, but saying it indirectly somewhat but clearly and you also do not say marion zimmer bradleys allegations are allegations, we do not actually know if what matter of them are true?. secondly. you state "College students cannot handle unintentional microaggressions without administration help, campus police and pharmeceuticals." What does this mean? ALL college students now are alike? exactly alike? are all of them like this? What exactly constitutes a "unintentional microagression, as well?" thats kindof subjective. What are the reasons for this? Its implied EVERYONE is simply now not tough at all, or thoughtful. All claims, of absolute and universal nature which need to be proved, and i'd be surprised if were provable, since universal claims tend not to be. Also in illustrating these statements you provide images of people whom you see as "embodying this limp spined generation." Is that what these people are that you've shown? Even if so, thats not a picture of everybody. at the least its cherrypicked by you to support your point.
Wild stuff. The freaks at Berkeley thought if you opposed child molestation you were a "square". The 60's sexual revolution is easily the greatest manmade disaster.
You know all the dogs at college students and stuff is a fun example as to why the people never got caught or punished before. That any degree of weakness or victim hood is vilified and the Villains ignored while society goes: “stop whining”

Moira grew up to be a hateful homophobe who uses her trauma as an excuse for her vitriol agaisnt the LGBTQ community. Not saying what she went through is not horrible and obviously a crime. But that doesn't excuses her now.
Strangely, Lovecraft gets more hate for saying "mean" things than authors such as Bradley or Clarke who say the "right" things.

You miss the connection of her love of Gor the fictional setting for a series of sword and planet novels written by philosophy professor John Lange, writing as John Norman. The setting was first described in the 1966 novel Tarnsman of Gor.
Definitely sensed some weirdness in Clarke's later writing. I love sci-fi and always will, but there are some very broken people in the community. One reason why I never enjoyed conventions.

I wish Moira love, light, and healing in every sense. What her parents did was disgusting and inexcusable; they and others who are guilty of similar crimes absolutely need to be held accountable. With all that said, however, I don't think it's fair to paint an entire community of people as "depraved", "overweight" (what's wrong with that?), "sexually confused", etc. As you said, the sins of abusers are not the sins of their victims, and so neither should they be the sins of people who create or are drawn to particular types of art. One's taste in art isn't a sin or crime, nor is it always an indication of "wrongness". Also, as a final note, some of the darker parts of "The Mists of Avalon", such as Mordred being the product of incest, have been plot elements of the Arthurian legends pretty much since the beginning and weren't Bradley's invention.

I was just reading about her and was amazed and disgusted at how these people (her parents) exist.

You spotted my reasons for telling younger fans in the Anime fandom that we have a huge problem. I called this the Breen Affect because it was still going on! I am a fan of Sci-fi but Anne McCaffrey was more my hero.

Moira is an internet friend of mine and I have an enormous amount love and respect and admiration for her. Sadly though, on top of everything else, she recently lost her beloved husband of many years, Michael. As of now in 2019 she is still in a deep state of grief and trying to cope with it as best she can. I think when she goes to Heaven someday God will allow her to bring her harp with her where there will be beauty and music and no more pain.
It's a form of self denial and unaccountability in this case, obviously he was sexually abused ad a child and to disown the trauma, went on to traumatize to repeat the trauma loop he was trapped in. As for the mother, the Mists of Avalon story with incest of the children producing Mordred is like the force of abuse as an identity itself for her to focus upon as a person and again, disowning the pain of trauma of innocence lost. As if there is a demon to be named and blamed in physical form outside, but I suspect that this abuse pattern was ancestral, who was the first abuser – no one knows, but the pattern stayed and repeated. Both were traumatized and created from the trauma. Moira is an amazing brave beautiful soul and I wish her true peace because it is she who the pattern ended with.
kinda has my doubts, but i've paid $5 to read the damn thing tomorrow. Definitely not sharing an interesting anecdote with Ms Peat about their mum's book; i've concluded we're from different species. I don't like to tell people what to do and abhor bullying, and i'm quite proud of my gay brother and non-binary first-born. Oh, and I've had three abortions and felt not a second's remorse. Kay and Dylan are thriving, but thankfully that's in spite of me. Oh, and I thrive on exercise, like the seven miles I'll walk tomorrow before date night, but poor Ms Peat needs an inhaler to swim laps. They probably have lovely pricey insurance.
