I can't believe it !!! Same exact thing happened to me as your buddy Harry. I also had my Allen Wrench (for my camera's baseplate) taken from me at the New Delhi airport in April (2022). I couldn't believe it either. When the security officer found it after the x-ray he looked at me disapprovingly and asked me what it was. I said it was an Allen KEY but that wasn't enough to confuse the issue and avoid confiscation. He took it and made a note in some gigantic ledger at the x-ray station. My crime against India is immortalized forever !!
No doubt, somewhere at DEL, there is a gigantic collection of these nefarious tools!
But overall India was a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back !!!!!! Thanks for posting. My wife and I had a laughing fit when we heard you relate Harry's experience !!!!

enjoy your Vlogs… but with regards to security be glad they are thorough. the largest aviation terror attack in history targeted an Indian aircraft in the mid 1980s. In another attack the Taliban terrorist used box cutters to take over a plane in an Indian aircraft in 2000 (maybe a dry run for 9/11). There are a lot of terrorists in the neighborhood, these elements seep into India at times. The current govt has a done a good job in cleaning out these terrorists, but the threat is always there
Come to North East India, especially to Meghalaya, you will be surprise.

Indian airport security are the most disrespectful people ever. We indian are even treated like dirt.

Sorry for the bad experience at Delhi Airport. Don't let 1or 2 bad experience ruin your experience. I have had such superb experiences in Thailand and a couple of bad ones it happens but I feel in general Thailand is AWESOME .
Not sure what the securities problem was. There is no reason to be rude and treat foreign passengers like that. All they are doing is giving themselves bad publicity!

From what I see in your videos , You’re a great person my friend . In regarding India and what happened to you at the airport . Don’t feel bad about it, this what you get every time you visit this part of the world . It happened to me as well and it’s so hard to describe how filthy the security personnel they were. They searched my stuff and and my family, when we entered the country . We didn’t even finish our 9 days trip . We left the country the 3rd day to Malaysia. It’s a hell of a trip. We didn’t enjoy nothing . We even couldn’t eat due to the filthy restaurants they have

Good Lord. Stop being so entitled. Every country has ruthless international airport security. USA is the worst. That's every country trying to protect it's people. If not up for it, don't travel. And look at all our sweet people in the comments saying "SORRY". Like seriously STOP. It's national security. What the hell are you apologising for?
