Oh boy ! …. Grew up eating all that stuff and much more (but not in Turkiyé)…. absolutely love that Saj and fresh breads baked on it. Love fresh fried eggs with Sumak I would add some Sujuk on top; that Cemen usually used to make Basturma; we were forbidden to eat it because it makes you stink to the heavens forever; it has Fenugreek in it; the candied orange peel, dried fig jam not my favorite but whole fresh figs cooked the same way like those Mandarins are to die for; and that Tahini dessert that Kate your "tester" loves is very good as well. She's funny….. That juice looks more like a smoothie and probably has blood orange juice in it. Those old Singer sewing machines reminded me of my late father who was a professional tailor in the 60s. Love those antique typewriters as well. So many memories watching this video a year after uploading! . Beautiful location away from the crowds… great content Mick and Trudy and thanks for sharing.

09:52 there is a sentence written there from Atatürk: “Dilim dilim ekmek demek milim milim yükselmek demektir.” it is hard to translate but it means “Bread slices/agricultural development makes us rise slowly” ekmek means bread (noun) and planting (verb) at the same time in Turkish and it can be used to plant any fruits and veggies. Agriculture was very important for our economy in early years of Turkey, it still is.

The only problem is that's too.much waste of food I am sure you arenot going to finish all that food and I wonder what happens to it after? Do they reserve it to other guest or it goes to garbage?

We use "ziyafet" word for this table. BTW I lived in Fethiye but never went this village. Wonderful breakfast.
