I kept waiting for those HUGE glasses to fall off. They're very overpowering, I couldn't take my eyes off of them. They look really uncomfortable the way they dominate your face. Was there anything else going on in this video? As long as you like history lessons did you ever hear the story about Marylin Monroe? When she was finished getting dressed for a night out she'd turn her back to the mirror then spin around quickly. The first thing she noticed when she saw herself, she'd remove so it wouldn't be a distraction from the overall visual.

Why Peychaud's instead of Angostura in the Pro? I'd have thought the clarifying would need the sharper flavor of Angostura. Not a criticism, just curious.

For anyone interested in milk washing a cocktail but you have a lactose intolerance; some research shows that the lactose enzyme survives the clarifying process in the whey of the milk you separate. So if you use something like lactaid whole (more fat=more flavor when the curdling, clumping, and clarifying happens ) you can avoid the unfortunate results

I just did the Pro version and it turned out great! Question though, how do you squeeze and catch the lemon juice? I used a lemon squeezer and put it into a small bowl, then transferred that with a spoon into the jigger. It worked, but wasn't very efficient. Thanks!

cool video! i love using egg whites in drinks, they elevate a drink for sure… as for your comments on canadian whiskey, you were very diplomatic! i'm a huge fan of whiskey, scotch primarily. i like their various 'look at me!' styles, all very punchy and forceful. i also love bourbons… as a style though i find canadian whiskey boring. i have yet to taste a canadian whiskey that i have really liked, they are very 'gentle'… i suppose that's what people like about them.

Dayum, I am really impressed with the flavour profile of the pro version. No I havent tasted it, but it could almost taste when you explained it.
All the clarified cocktail videos I’ve seen say to hear your milk up first. You didn’t, and it still worked. Seems like a big time saver.
