Thanks for sharing. I’m going to London soon. I’m staying at the Z Hotel Strand, near Trafalgar Square. I’ll be traveling solo, so not concerned about privacy. Plus, I’m going to spend more time outside the room, because of work, and I want to experience much of London. It’s been a hot minute since the last time I was in London. That said, it’s good to visualize where I will be staying.

lol…. the room is designed for only 1 person. and being a tourist we spend more time outside, than inside a room,. so that room is just perfect. Go to Japan, youre rant for that room is nothing compare to a room in Japan.. lol.
We got 2 double rooms with windows for £120/$140 a night???

You have forgotten to mention something dude. The Strand Palace prices are lot higher than Z's.
When you do a review you should mention that as well.
If you are someone likes to pay for unused space then go on. I would rather pay less for the same location with the complimentary cheese buffet, specially if I'm alone.
I like Z Hotels but I always pay £50 per night (work discount) they’re definitely not worth over £100 per night.
Ive just booked the next size room up from your one and it only cost £50 for a Saturday night mate! Your right in the heart of London and the average price of a hotel room is £180 per night! For £50 its worth every penny
might be close to one of the smaller cruise cabins 😮 great location tho
I’ve stayed in smaller. It was 20 years ago, but it was a twin that stretched the length of the room, and a tv at the foot. It was so narrow I could do the splits and touch a foot to each wall.
hey didn't you check on yelp/trip advisor and look at pics before you committed to this hotel. I mean you should have known what you were getting yourself into
This room is about twice the size of my hotel room I had in Osaka when I visited Japan.
When you booked, did they disclose the very small size of the room, did they provide a picture of this specific size room, or were you surprised by how small it was?
Oh my! Definitely a one-person room. Too close for comfort even for a couple. But, that cheese looked amazing! I stayed in a boutique hotel in New Orleans years ago that wasn't much larger…and shared it with two friends. We were very uncomfortable…

People are so pick about anything and everything, that is why we are so unhappy and heard to please..
That sink (faucet) placement would drive me crazy! Don't like the whole set up in the bathroom. The room would be an okay room to stay at if you just needed a place to sleep.

When traveling the hotel is just a place to sleep, so a small room is ok. Next trip you'll need to do easyhotel to a real small room review 🙂

In a hotel like this Morgan you are really paying for Sky and the TV! Thats basically it.
Also In the UK most mondern hotels in the UK normally don't have USB plugs. Only the really really fancy ones that have been updated!
That room is definitely only for 1 person. When we stayed at the Hub we got the bigger room for the 2 of us and I am glad we did. That room would have been way too small for the 2 of us especially for a week.
Glass bathroom?! No thanks. I am not as picky about sliding doors as you are but that room is a no fly zone.
